The situations run from 8U through high school. Younger teams work through the bunt coverage, pop-up priority and backup pages; older teams get more out of the relay sections. It stays useful as your players move up.
Will it hold up outside? Pages are printed on heavy stock and the spiral binding is metal, so it takes a season in a bat bag. It isn’t laminated — if you coach in consistent rain, keep it in a gallon bag between innings.
Do I need to know baseball to use it? No. Every diagram labels each of the nine positions and draws the throw, so a first-year volunteer coach can run the same situation a varsity staff would.
How is this different from the digital version? Identical content. The printed guide is what you take to the field; the digital download is what you read on a phone or send to your assistants. Plenty of coaches keep both.
